( 1 )  I'm roaming through Mall-Mart at three in the morning,
Just searching for that perfect gift
The aisles are filled with large palates of boxes
and small bins through which I can sift.

There's holiday music from speakers above,
Playing carols of winter and jingles of love

I'm roaming through Mall-Mart at three in the morning
Just having a wonderful time

( 2 )  I'm roaming through Mall-Mart at three in the morning
No people to get in my way
I'm grateful to all who invented this season
This secular holiday

I'm filling my basket with presents galore
Then I'll finish my shopping at the dollar store

I'm roaming through Mall-Mart at three in the morning
Just having a wonderful time

INSTRUMENTAL

( 3 )  I'm roaming through Mall-Mart at three in the morning
It really is something to see
The clerks are all yawning with glazed over eyes
Home in bed,  you know,  they'd rather be

Santa and reindeer are all at the door
And a ran-over grandma is still on the floor

I'm roaming through Mall-Mart at three in the morning
Just having a wonderful time
